What is Canvas?

Canvas ad is a new immersive and expressive experience on Facebook for businesses to tell their stories and showcase their products.

In Canvas, people can swipe through a carousel of images, tilt to view panoramic images and zoom in to view images in detail. Fashion brands, and automotive or tech products as well, can be described better in such a format. Advertisers can go into detail on their brand universe or their tech product features.

Imagine if you could navigate through panoramic images promoting a hotel in Bali. Or think about a virtual visit to a car’s interior. The possibilities are endless!

This new ad format was officially launched in February 2017, but MakeMeReach has been testing it for a while.

Alessandro, Ads Expert at MakeMeReach is a passionate digital marketer with several years of agency experience in the UK, as well as over 2 years in the French start-up environment. He worked for exciting clients such as AB Inbev, Canon and Fossil.

Alessandro was one of the first people to use Canvas to create brand-formance ads for our clients. He believes in this immersive format and thinks that today, this is the most engaging format among Facebook ad formats.

During this 1hour workshop, he will share his expertise on this format, showcasing other brands examples, and giving insightful tips to follow when creating efficient and beautiful Facebook Canvas campaigns.
